DESCRIPTION:Many of you have joined our meet ups and made great connections\, but what’s next? Well…we’re making some space for you to show off your skills\, share what you’re working on and play with others. \nWe will be hosting our third open mic and jam session at our south Austin home\, near Westgate and Slaughter. This open mic and jam will only be for musicians and music industry. Since this is at a private residence RSVPs will be limited. **Our exact address will be provided a week prior to the event.** \nALL SKILL LEVELS are welcome\, come share some songs you or your band are working on. Jam with other musicians and explore new styles. Join us for all or some of this event. \nSCHEDULE: Below is a tentative schedule\, times may vary depending on how many people show up to jam vs. open mic. We will be flexible for the group. \n12:30pm – Open mic sign ups \n12:45pm – Group introductions \n1:00pm – Open mic (2 songs or 10 min) \n3:00pm – Group introductions and networking \n3:30pm- Open jam \n5:30pm- Event end \nSOUND & INSTRUMENTS: We will have our resident sound engineer and JAM co-founder\, Dan\, here to make sure we all sound great. We have a PA\, monitors\, 16 channel mixer\, and cables. We will have plenty of mics and mic stands\, an electronic drum set\, weighted keyboard\, bass\, electric guitars and acoustic guitar. If you have a different instrument or would prefer to play your own\, feel free to bring it. If you have a backing track for a song please email it to: info@joiningallmusicians.com. \nQuestions about your instrument or equipment? Message me. \nOTHER: We will have some light snacks and drinks\, but BYOB and potluck style if you’d like to partake. Please nothing sticky or messy since we will be playing instruments. \nThis event is at our home.
