To say that Ezra Furman is making some of the most provocative and important folk-punk music at the current moment might sound like an overstatement but it truly isn’t. A Chicago native who has been honing her craft for the last decade and a half has reached wondrous level.
Her show was one of the best shows I saw in 2022. Definitely the most moving.
