Where
- Choose what city you want to host an event in
- Navigate to the “Spaces” menu on Common Space and select that city
- Check out different venues – you can see information about venues such as the types of events they are interested in hosting, venue sizes, amenities, and more.
- Select one or more venues you want to reserve for an event
Contact the Venue
- Contact information for each venue is available on Common Space
- Most venues prefer to be contacted by email, but if you are local, visiting in-person when they aren’t too busy can help build a relationship with the venue early on.
- Reach out to the venue through the listing page, introduce yourself, and briefly explain your idea.
Book Your Event
- When a venue replies to your request, work with them to setup arrangements including event dates and times, payment arrangements, tickets, and more.
- You can ask whether they would be interested in a “Door Deal” where the are no upfront costs, but a percentage of ticket revenue is shared with the venue.
